MEET KATIE
Katie Wood Interiors, formerly K. Sneed Design, is led by owner + lead designer, Katie Wood.
Katie was raised in Franklin, TN and it was clear from an early age that design would be her path. Picking up on her creativity and love of art, her grandmother bought her an interior design game for Christmas one year. She spent hours creating floor plans and designing spaces which led to her choosing interior design as her major at Auburn University.
In 2018, Katie graduated from top 10 CIDA accredited Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design. After graduating, she dedicated nights and weekends to residential renovation projects while working for a hospitality design firm full time. In early 2021, Katie was able to launch Katie Wood Interiors (formerly K. Sneed Design) full time and hasn’t looked back.
Katie was announced as part of the National Kitchen and Bath Association’s 30 Under Thirty class of 2024 and has won local awards for her kitchen and bathroom designs.
When not working on numerous design projects, she spends time with her husband, Jesse, and Great Dane, Winston. Katie is also a huge college sports fan supporting her Auburn Tigers on the weekends.
Katie loves getting to know each client (and of course their dogs) while creating a space that is both functional and personal to their lifestyle. KWI specializes in full service design whether it’s a renovation, new construction, or a full-overhaul furnishings project.
